I’ve had consistently wonderful experiences at the Chanel boutique inside Saks Fifth Avenue Boston. The team is always warm, welcoming, and professional, making every visit a pleasure. Although the boutique is relatively small, I continue to be impressed by the selection. They often have highly sought-after handbags and ready-to-wear pieces, and if something isn’t available, they’re incredibly efficient at sourcing it from another Chanel boutique. Jake deserves a very special shout-out. He is exceptionally resourceful, personable, and has an incredible eye for recommending pieces that fit my style perfectly. Whether I’m looking for something specific or simply browsing, I always leave feeling well taken care of. His product knowledge, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm make every visit enjoyable. Jake also goes out of his way to make every visit special for both me and my four-year-old daughter. Thanks to those positive experiences, we now have a very young Chanel enthusiast who proudly received her first Chanel piece through Jake. If you’re visiting the Chanel boutique at Saks Boston, I highly recommend asking for Jake. He is a true asset to Chanel.

I went to this store a few weeks ago during the annual Chanel sale. I was visiting from CA. Yanling was helping me. I understand that I came at almost closing time but the way I was rushed to pick my glasses frames is beyond unacceptable for such a luxury brand with high reputation. I purchased 2 frames. They packed them and I took the bag as is back to CA. I have purchased from Chanel in Paris, and many other luxurious brands across the world and this is the very first time this happened to me. I never had to check the packages that the store nicely wrapped for me. I should have known from the other poor reviews here but when I opened one of the boxes (back in CA) I realized they put the WRONG ITEM! Mind you I asked the associate why the price was cheaper than I thought and she just said nonchalantly that I probably mixed up the prices. I tried calling the store and they never answered! @Billy Poppell the store manager, please train your associates properly to have good professional mannerisms and how they are accountable to provide good shopping experience for ALL customers.

I am writing this to express my absolute disappointment with the Chanel at Saks Fifth Avenue, Boston. My experience today was the epitome of unprofessionalism and poor management. I arrived at the store at 6:50 PM on a Friday—a full 10 minutes before the official closing time of 7:00 PM. To my disbelief, I was denied entry. The staff’s excuse was that they were "closing the counters" and could not provide the "full experience." While they maintained a polite tone, they were completely dismissive of the fact that I was there during their advertised operating hours. Let’s be clear: Business Hours are a commitment: If a store claims to be open until 7:00 PM, they should welcome customers until 7:00 PM. If your staff is unwilling to work until the actual closing time, you should officially change your hours to 6:45 PM. Poor Industry Standard: I have shopped at luxury boutiques worldwide, and it is standard practice to welcome clients until the final minute, with the understanding that transactions or browsing wrap up shortly after closing. Denying entry 10 minutes early is lazy and disrespectful to the brand’s image. The "Full Experience" Excuse: This is a transparently weak justification for staff wanting to clock out early on a Friday night. I didn’t ask for a red-carpet gala; I asked to enter a store that was legally and officially still open. It is no surprise that this location has such low ratings. Instead of addressing the consistent complaints about service, the management continues to allow this "gatekeeping" culture to thrive. If you value your time and expect to be treated with the basic professional courtesy that the Chanel name supposedly stands for, avoid this location at all costs.☠
