- ARAshley ReynoldsSep 7, 20261.0I used to visit this store several times a week and always had a phenomenal experience. The gun crew here used to be second to none, easily the best around for miles. Since the management change, this store has gone completely downhill. It’s almost impossible to get any assistance, the atmosphere is horrible, and the store itself is dirty, disorganized, and honestly a disgrace compared to what it used to be. Emma and Ben were always my go-to people for firearm purchases and services because they actually knew what they were doing and took care of their customers. The new management team seems to have a dangerously low understanding of firearm procedures and basic safety. On several occasions while shopping here, I’ve personally witnessed the Black female manager point firearms in the direction of employees and customers, which is completely unacceptable in any gun store. This used to be the best gun store in the area, and now it’s become a joke. A lot of people in the local gun community who used to shop here regularly are now refusing to come back. It’s a shame to see what happened to a store that used to have such a great reputation.
- BBbarnoldSep 2, 20261.01 older gentleman (I believe his name is James) behind the counter with 6 customers needing help. He clearly had his hands full, needed help, waited for awhile before I walked out. The worst part of the visit was the bathroom. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a hot minute. Solidified urine stains on the toilet and beneath the urinals. Trash everywhere on the floor. The men’s restroom smelled like fermented feces. Save your time and find somewhere else to shop. At least Academy has clean restrooms.

- AEAlternative EatersAug 12, 20265.0I know the person who really helped me, Chris, isn't from this location and is just helping the store, but he was amazing and really went above and beyond to help me with my online order debacle! The customer service number and supposed customer service agents were useless. I even had a manager call me back, and they were even worse! Thank you Chris for caring and going the extra mile to help me out!
