Art & Eyes is New Orleans' premier provider of eyewear for people who want to wear glasses while supporting the best artisans in American-made clothing, jewelry, and accessories. We're a high-end art-to-wear boutique as well as a resource for the person who wants excellent vision and visionary design from their glasses.
Our collection of frames is hand-picked for people who appreciate eyewear as an opportunity for aesthetic expression. We pursue quality craftsmanship and design rather than trends and logos, and we take pride in curating our evolving collection. With frames ranging from $99 to $2600 and brands like Salt and Theo, we aspire to offer every customer accessible chic.
This is the first review I've written for Art Eyes. I should have done this a long time ago. I really love this independent business. I am now on my 10th pair of frames purchased from Art Eyes since they opened more than 11 years ago. The selection of frames is amazing and many are ones you'll not find anywhere else. There's a style of frame for every type of unique person. As soon as you enter the shop you immediately get a warm and welcoming feeling. You'll be greeted not only by one of the amazing owners or one of their staff, but also by the most beautiful and friendly cat I have ever come across. Over the many years I've been a customer, Meredith has been my go-to-person in the shop. She has always been kind, patient, and truly happy to assist me every time I visit. I unfortunately moved far from New Orleans in 2021. When visiting New Orleans I always make it a point to visit this eyeglass shop and get a new pair of frames that are shipped to me very quickly.

After careful getting compliments from people’s about the frames I’m wearing I decided to show my appreciation by improving my review , the only problem with the frames are one screen on the right side has a sharp edge!

The service is excellent. The selection is excellent. The shop cat exceeded my expectations. My husband and I have made this our first stop for eyewear for years. I have several friends, including folks from NYC and Los Angeles, who prefer to come to Art & Eyes when they're in town. Yes, the frames are spendy. And yes, the lenses are spendy but they offer free replacements if you get scratches or dings. We love every pair we've gotten here because the staff makes sure we're happy with what we selected before we walk out the door.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this store and the two owners Starr and Paul!! They have curated a wonderful creative museum of epic eyewear! They have a few of the normal pieces you can find in other independent eyewear stores and a whoooole lot of frames you won’t find anywhere else. I have a massive independent eyewear collection and just when I thought I had it all, Starr and Paul opened my eyes to a whole new galaxy of super groovy eyewear. If you are in New Orleans and looking to up your eyewear game or live in any part of the world and want a fun eyewear stop, go see Starr and Paul. I am 100% confident you’ll be glad you did!!
