A few days ago, I went to pick up an order at this store. When I walked in, I could immediately tell that I was being judged by the way I was dressed. I was wearing Nike leggings, a Nike shirt, and flip-flops. The people who made me feel the most uncomfortable were an Asian woman and a Latino man. I asked the woman a question, and she gave me a fake smile while looking me up and down. The Latino man kept coming near me every few minutes, as if he thought I was going to steal something. I was simply there to pick up an order I had placed online and to purchase a long-sleeve shirt. I believe people should not be judged or treated differently because of the way they dress. Their behavior was extremely disrespectful, made me feel very uncomfortable, and I found it discriminatory.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience at this Alo location today. I came in with my babysitter and my infant twins in a double car-seat stroller. Shortly after we entered, what appeared to be the manager called security into the store. The manager then stood near the entrance with two security guards and another employee until we left. We were never given a reason for the extra attention and felt watched the entire time. What makes this even more frustrating is that I have spent thousands of dollars at this location over the years, and we left after making a $436 purchase. Whether intentional or not, the experience felt like profiling based on appearance rather than behavior. No customer should feel singled out or treated as suspicious while simply shopping. Alo should do a better job training staff and management to ensure all customers are treated with respect and made to feel welcome. Unfortunately, this experience has left a very negative impression.

About three months ago I purchased a jacket from this location, and I was judged as soon as I walked in the door. I only came in there for one thing, which was a jacket that I wanted. The workers don’t really want to help you, and when I tried on the jacket and told the male worker that I wanted to purchase the $156 dollar jacket the other female worker said, “She’s buying something!?” with a overly shocked expression as if I am not a previous Alo buyer.
