  I will never sell anything or waste my time here. Clothes were new with tags my daughter pointed out one of the girls was picking up the clothes with two fingers. Like I was dirty or the clothes were dirty. Went to Lafayette the same clothes they rejected I was paid 125. For all my clothes and shoes Lafayette location much friendly and nice. The drive is worth it.

  ⚠️ My Experience at Plato’s Closet in Lake Charles If you’re planning a trip to Plato’s Closet in Lake Charles, I honestly recommend making the drive to Lafayette instead. I recently went to the Lake Charles location to sell some brand-new, never-worn name-brand clothing, including Ed Hardy, Nike, Fashion Nova, True Religion, and more. None of the items had defects, and some still had the original price tags attached. While looking through my clothes, the employee handled them with two fingers, as if they were dirty. I was then told that my clothing had “slight damage,” which was frustrating because the items were brand new and had never been worn. What made the experience even more disappointing was seeing some of the clothing on their racks in poor condition, including items that appeared worn, stained, or outdated. It made me question the consistency of their standards when evaluating what they accept from customers. I also feel the store could benefit from more diversity in its inventory and a wider understanding of different fashion styles. Not everyone wears the same aesthetic, and shoppers deserve options that reflect a variety of tastes. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both the customer experience and the selection of clothing.

  I came in yesterday, and Everytime you walk in everyone says welcome the place is always clean great environment everything in order... Thank you for everyone working there and making this a great place to shop.
