  I love the fantastic sales and bargains! The staff always helpful and will help find the best coupons for greatest savings! Please don’t ever close the Houma Louisiana location!

  I visited the store on Sunday, November 12th mid-day. This was only my third time at this location or mall since moving to the area two years ago. The sales people were not friendly. I entered by the women's plus section. A few days prior, I spent $400 with JC Penney online purchasing professional attire. Unfortunately, I was not able to find the blouse I wanted online and decided to visit the store. Huge mistake! The entire time I was shopping I was being surveilled. The young woman African-American with short dreadlocks at the register suddenly appeared and starting straightening the area where I was shopping. As I moved to a different location so did she. Then another associate appeared a Caucasian woman with dark hair wearing white short-sleeved shirt and started straighten items in the area I where I was shopping. The saddest part of this situation no one offered to assist me. I found three items and proceeded to the checkout. The older woman (wore glasses and hair in a bun) at the checkout was cold and snobbish. I inquired about being able to return items purchased online at the store if the items do not fit properly. I was advised to make sure to keep the paperwork that came with the items or I would not be able to return them. Honestly, I was so disappointed and angered by the treatment. I have received some of the several items I purchased online and need to return two of them. I dread going back to this location. No customer deserves to be judged, profiled and made to feel uncomfortable.
