- JJJessApr 22, 20262.0One again, the woman at the perfume counter refused to let me check out there stating that I had to go to customer service. She was not helping any customers and not performing a service. So, I went to customer service and waited in a long line which moved slowly. I called the store and spoke to a manager who then arrived at customer service promptly and helped. Some customers were sent to the beauty counter where the same employee who refused to check me out was forced to do her job and began to check out other customers. Why doesn’t this store want people to buy things??? So strange to me. Not the first time either. Do better!!! There is no reason to make people spend several minutes in line when other employees are available/not engaged in any tasks and refuse to help. 4/22/26; 10-10:30am.

- THTara HopeApr 16, 20263.0Nice store but Belk needs to hire more employees. There is always at least a 15-20 min wait to check out because they only have 1-2 registers open. Corporate controls the A/C and it’s way too stuffy! I feel bad for the hard working employees. It’s like Walmart, they hire 2 people to do the job of 10. Sad!! Corporate greed!
