I called ahead expecting we’d have to stop at multiple Bass Pro locations since we needed three kennels. They had two in stock and thought they might have a third. Julie went the extra mile, tracked it down, and called me back right away to let me know they had all three waiting for us. Outstanding customer service—thank you, Julie!

I accidentally left my credit card at home and asked if there was any way they could manually enter the card information since I had the card number available. Instead of politely explaining their policy, the employees I spoke with were rude and dismissive. I understand businesses have security procedures they must follow, but customer service matters. A courteous explanation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the way I was treated left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. Based on this experience, I would hesitate to shop here again.

Situated right along the Red River at the Louisiana Boardwalk, this store is much more than just a place to shop—it’s an experience. One of our favorite parts of the visit was seeing the live alligators and watching the fish in the massive aquarium. It made the store fun to explore and added a unique Louisiana touch to the experience. The variety of merchandise was impressive, with a huge selection of outdoor gear, clothing, fishing equipment, hunting supplies, gifts, and more. The store was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making the visit even more enjoyable. Parking was plentiful and conveniently located, making it easy to stop in whether you’re shopping or just exploring the Boardwalk area. If you’re visiting Shreveport, this Bass Pro Shops is definitely worth a stop. Between the beautiful riverfront location, wildlife exhibits, friendly staff, and extensive selection of merchandise, it’s a destination all on its own!
