- EWElizabeth Wray4 days ago1.0I came in earlier today trying to find a piece of jewelry for a gift and the sales person at the jewelry counter, an older lady, I think named angela, was very rude and turned up her nose at me and my sister. She gave snide answers for normal questions and then after acting like it was an inconvenience to help us she did finally give a recommendation for a piece. Then she went for the priciest item on the shelf. I normally come into jcpenny every year around the holidays and sometimes throughout the year specifically to shop for gifts, can’t say i’ll be back again now. Horrible salesperson!

I was met with eye-rolls and an attitude like I was scammer. not once was I asked about my purchase and/or my dissatisfaction. In the end, I was told that due to "system changes" I would only qualify for a credit that was less than 1/3 the price I paid. I was so disappointed I ended up leaving without using the credit and I plan to RE-purchase the items I need (plus several other items) at Walmart or Target. I hope the $20 they saved is worth losing a loyal customer.
