Very very unprofessional, I went to the establishment with clean , clothing for kids adults and shoes. I was told the incorrect time for them to close and was treated very very poorly during the conversation for the miscommunication ( on their part). When I did make it to drop off the clothing in the correct hours of operation time. I was not notified my items were done. My tracking of the process simply just magjcally disappeared. I was told due to the low inventory and what I had I could not be offered anything but could donate it all. When asked what was unable to be taken, nothing on the list was in my bags (15+). The worker did not want to explain or offer any type of follow up for why the clothes could not be taken. This place NEEDS a realignent. Its not the experince you would want to have at all.

The very first time that we called to see what their hours were the worker that was a female told us 10 o’clock so we get here at Plato‘s closet in Lexington Kentucky at 9:18 and they’re closing the doors and locking it and we said well, can you take these clothes? They said yeah sure they have us bring every single one of our clothes in in the bags and set them down to tell us that oh they close at 9 o’clock and they can no longer accept donations and I said well I can’t. Can’t I leave them and you take a picture of my ID and the picture of the clothes now that’s against the law and this and ad of Kentucky which is fine so we waited for five days and we’re back today and we drop the clothes off at 6:00 PM I had asked the worker oh can we just drop it off and then you know you’ll call us and we can come back and they said no they would donate if we didn’t come back the same day as well. And they decided to tell us that yeah you can bring the clothes in and we’ll take your ID and will text you whenever it’s ready well it’s 711 now and we went back because nothing no text anything and whenever we went back, they told us that they were They were on low inventory needs for kids stuff even though 10 of my 15 bags were adult cargo shorts and they said oh well if you like to donate it all you can no I want you to do better

When I first walked in, I was impressed with the space. I almost felt like I was walking into a Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters. However, as I looked through the clothes, I was very disappointed. I’ve worked at a couple of Plato’s locations over the past decade, and this the worst I’ve seen it. About 90% of the clothes I went through had stains. It was absolutely shocking. I’d spot a cute sweatshirt, and as soon as I pulled it from the rack, STAIN. It was very disappointing. I found three sweatshirts I bought (yay!) but would have bought more if they didn’t have stains.
