  2 things. First: Belk needs to update their website or honor what it says. I searched while in the car today to ask if Estee Lauder had a free gift with purchase now. It showed me 2 different kits that said they were free with any Estee Lauder purchase. So, we went, planning to get foundation. But at the counter, my mom and sister were told that NO, in fact, there are no free gifts with purchase. That promo is over. So we did not buy makeup today. Second: in the underwear department, there were signs that said Buy 2, get 3 free and showed 4 brands, 2 of these being Parisian and Warner. I got 2 Parisian, 3 Warner, because it was all I could find in my size. The register was on the far side of the store. The clerk ringing me up said to get coupons or discounts, you had to have the app. I reluctantly downloaded the app. At which point she scanned the item. Which turned out to be all it was good for! Why would I need the Belks app to scan an item when I am at the register and you should be doing it for me?? The clerk admitted the signs confused her too but would not honor the discount I had seen on the sign. The panties rang up with an only slightly discounted price. I would have had to go all the way back and hunt down more in my size in that one brand to get a discount. I said NO! I would not buy them for that. And what's more, I used to work in marketing and signage was part of my JOB for years. If I am confused by signs, there is a PROBLEM. Congrats, Belk. You lost a customer.

  they had great summer colors and well made fabrics new for spring. i live 3 hours from there and wished i had purchased more clothing. great sale too!

  Great selection. Not necessarily better than other department stores in town, but I appreciate the selection being different. When you can’t find what you’re looking for, it might be here.

  Lots of things , clothing for kids and mostly women. Prices are moderate for most things.
