  I was looking for a particular item. I could not get any of their employees to help me find it. They would only point toward the part of the store they thought it was in. Never found the item on my own. One employee DID use his radio to ask for someone to come and help me. When he finally got there he led me to the item and acted like I was stupid for not spotting it. Won't go back.

  I don’t usually leave reviews for places, but i felt compelled to for today’s experience. I’m brand new to fishing, only been about 10 or so times and caught one fish. I decided i want to try to do some catfishing, but found i didn’t know where to start. I went to Bass Pro today, and picked up a couple things. As i was looking around, one of the floor staff asked if i needed any help. I told him what i was doing and asked if what i had was good enough or if i should pick anything else up. This guy then proceeded to basically work 1x1 with me for an hour and a half putting together a really nice catfishing kit with everything i needed. Hooks, bait, fishing line, weights, the whole thing. He put new line on my pole, showed me how to put everything on, and in what order. He answered all of my newb questions and not once made me feel like a newb or dumb. I told him about my experience with a competitor company buying my first fishing stuff and told him the night and day difference between there and here. When i walked in the door, i had 4-5 people say hello to me and welcomed me. I was really intimidated coming into the store, thinking no one would really help me, or not take me seriously. But this experience really excited me and i can’t wait to catch my first catfish. Im pretty confident now that i can, even if it will take me some time to get more comfortable just fishing in general. Im so sorry, i dont remember your name. But you left a really amazing impression on me and i called my husband after i left and told him i dont want to go anywhere else to get fishing equipment or help. Even if i have to drive across town to this location, its worth it. So thank you again, from one cat mom to a cat dad— i will be back to show you pictures of my first catch! 🎣

  Had a scary experience at this store yesterday- was being followed around the store and I felt very unsafe. Went to a employee and they acted quickly. Security confronted the individuals and asked them to leave. Employees stayed with me while I checked out and supervised me getting into our vehicle. I cannot express enough gratitude for their swift action- no questions asked. Will continue shopping here. Thanks everyone .

  Look we all love Bass Pro but your inability to handle Fire Arms and the pricing is ridiculous
