  Brandon in the shoe department was so helpful! I had a dress and an idea of what my shoe needs were- I gave those to him and he brought back five boxes and I found the perfect shoe! Definitely will be going back!

  Renata in the alterations department was absolutely wonderful! I went with my friend to get her dress altered, and Renata was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She was extremely kind, honest, and took the time to explain in depth what she was doing, making us feel confident about the alterations. Her warm and professional attitude truly made our day. I would highly recommend Renata to anyone looking to have their clothes altered at Nordstrom!

  Ginger in the ladies department was such a ray of sunshine! I took my sick friend shopping she has been in an awful struggle & Ginger was so kind and patient helping my friend. She went out of her way to find sale pants for me in my size & was successful! Made our whole experience so great! Honestly, every associate we talked to in every department was so NICE! This store is clearly well managed ! Clean , kind, helpful! Best shopping day ever! Thank you Nordstrom’s ( and Ginger) for a great experience!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I walked into Nordstrom at Oak Park Mall looking for a few things and ended up leaving with something far more valuable: a new friend named Michael. In a world where customer service often feels scripted, rushed, and transactional, Michael is the complete opposite. From the moment we met, he brought energy, personality, and genuine enthusiasm to the experience. It felt less like shopping and more like catching up with someone you’ve known for years. Michael has an incredible eye for style, but what impressed me most was his ability to listen. He didn’t try to sell me clothes—he helped me find pieces that actually fit my personality, lifestyle, and goals. That’s a rare skill. The best way I can describe him is this: if Nordstrom had a human version of its brand, it would be Michael. Professional without being stuffy. Knowledgeable without being pushy. Fun without ever losing focus on the customer. As you can see from the photo, we spent more time laughing than shopping, which says everything you need to know. Great style is easy to find. Great people are not. If you’re heading to Nordstrom in Overland Park, do yourself a favor and ask for Michael. You’ll leave looking better than when you arrived, and there’s a good chance you’ll leave smiling too. Thanks, Michael. The clothes were great, but the experience was even better.
