However i’m really upset that I brought my lexus to him to get an interlock installed in it and the first time wasn’t wired correctly i could start my car with the device disconnected. We got it fixed and it worked for like half the day and now we can start the car without the device connected again. Do not recommend coming here if you have a push to start vehicle.

On my initial visit, the installation was performed incorrectly because I could start my car without the device attached and it wouldn’t detect when I started the vehicle when it was attached. He found that he had cut the wrong wire in the starting system. He had it fixed as soon as we could get in during operating hours. I was grateful that he was able to quickly resolve it, but when dealing with a legal requirement on a vehicle that serves to get around, a certain level of care should go into making sure it was done right the first time. Great service, unfortunately a little careless.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
