  Tap to pay was down but they had signs at the door so all g there. Had a crazy travel around town to get cash but after all that got my poles all strung up and had a lovely weekend fishing. Super helpful and friendly staff. Great sense of humor as well!

  Staff was very polite and helpful in the gun area. Fun place to go with children. Got my a babies first Easter pictures with the bunny earlier in the year.

  Waited 25 min at the gun counter for help buying an optic. 1 person was working behind it on Father’s Day, I don’t know who thought that was a good idea. I left without buying anything.

  I came here fir the first time ever to a Bass Pro Sho and I really liked it. The store was clean and two stories high full of everything that a sportsman would want or need. They have cool clothes from Under Armour and others plus their own Bass Pro Shop line, all the way to boats and ATVs so there's so many things to look at or choose from that you would need at least a good few hours to check everything out. The displays are amazing and even though I'm not into hunting,seeing all the cool stuff this store has to offer makes want want to learn how to at least fish. The only zonk I have about this store is that if you want to get a members discount on certein items the only way you can from what I was told by the clerk is that you have to apply for their in store credit card which is through Capitol 1. Some of the isles are a little tight to navigate a shopping cart through too but otherwise I really likes this place and plan on going back soon to get some hoodies and more shirts. Come check Bass Pro Shops out even if it's just for the displays because this store is amazing.

  Came here after having a terrible experience at the KCK location. The kid "helping" me at the KCK location was uninterested,simply did not care to help me and did not want to answer any of my questions. Mind you i was on the hunt for the Abu Garcia VoltIQ reel. Pretty expensive reel. They didnt have it and the kid did not even try to recommend anything else.. ANYWAYS So, me and my brother decided to head to the Olathe location. Got helped by a gentleman by the name of Blake. He was enthusiastic and genuinely seemed excited to help me out. Unfortunately they didn't have the VoltIQ I wanted but he recommended me the Shimano SLX DC. After I he helped me with the reel he helped me find a pole and some braided line. It was overall a short, pleasant, and easy experience. He talked fishing with us while we looked through rods, taught us how to check the rods sensitivity by holding it up to his neck and talking while we felt the vibrations. That was pretty cool and I ACTUALLY LEARNED SOMETHING. I ended up with the Johnny Morris Carbonlite 7" rod. He even spooled the reel up for me. It was a good time and he helped me build a dope set-up that I could not be happier with. Thanks a ton Blake!
