In my 30s. Over the year since my high school years have probably spent thousands of dollars in these stores. Bought a shirt the other day not at any sort of discount discount, full price almost $70. Wash it ONE time button comes off. Simply want to exchange it. They told me to get lost. Will never ever ever step foot in an A&E store again. Will never buy any of their product again. I will make sure any of my friends and family do not as well. Absolute horrible. Let’s be real — overpriced clothes anyways. But the only reason I did buy A&E stuff is the sleeves a lot of times are plenty long and things fit me well. But no more. You can be buy Walmart gear or stuff from Rural King, and easily return no questions asked. I mean a $70 shirt washing up one time and the button comes off? And literally told me to get lost that’s our Policy? Absolutely not. Your policy will lose you one less customer, and I will make sure I will take a few with me. Customer service in America has went to absolute hell.

Can't say there was a big variety of clothing available right now. Did buy one item but not a clothing item. Nothing much to chose from.

I am a usual store customer at American Eagle. The other day i went into the store bought some apparel and i was done. Later that day i was at work, an associate from American Eagle came up to me and said that her manager wanted my phone number. So on a short break i went back to American Eagle and the manager was a guy. I said to him "Are you gay?" he said "yes" so i responded "i'm not gay thanks though". First of all that is super unprofessional, to get your co workers to come to someone else's work and get their phone number. To even ask a customer for their phone number is unprofessional. Then 2nd off i felt very disturbed, you can't do that as a manager because that is unprofessional. Despite that i am very right winged and very anti-lgbt, it is still unprofessional even if your a manager, store manager, associate, whatever! If the customer asks you then you can respond respectively however you choose. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else, because i know this won't happen to me anymore because they just lost a customer.
