  The Better Half loves this place. My issue is the discount rack for the shoes is no discount. They always have something in my size but it is always still priced high.

  Nice store, could have been a little more organized. They did have some good deals. Just like a lot of places, there were some really good deals and some priced that seemed a little high. Overall I had good experience and found wht I was looking for at a great price.b

  Why did you guys get rid of your clearance shoe tables in the back ? It was very convenient to find goodies on a good sale instead of going thru aisles. Bad idea guys

  I understand that certain members of the management team have a longstanding personal relationship that predates their current employment roles( hiring their former babysitter turn manager). While personal relationships are not inherently inappropriate, they can create the appearance of favoritism or a conflict of interest when customer complaints involve one of those individuals. For that reason, I did not feel comfortable relying solely on the local management structure to review this matter. I have been a loyal Nordstrom Rack customer for years and have spent thousands of dollars with this company because I have always associated the Nordstrom name with exceptional customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Schererville location was the exact opposite. During a visit to the store, I experienced what I felt was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional behavior from a member of management. While no customer should be treated that way, what happened afterward was even more disappointing. While I was still shopping in the store, I observed members of management whispering, laughing, and appearing to discuss me following the interaction. As a customer, that felt disrespectful, immature, and completely inconsistent with the level of professionalism I expect from a management team. When customers bring concerns forward, they should be treated with courtesy and respect—not become the subject of conversations, laughter, or gossip. Whether someone spends $20 or thousands of dollars annually, every customer deserves dignity. The most disappointing part is that this experience did not feel like an isolated bad day. It felt like a reflection of a management culture that has forgotten that customers are the reason businesses exist in the first place. I rarely take the time to leave negative reviews, but this experience was significant enough that I felt compelled to share it. The merchandise and Nordstrom brand have kept me returning for years, but the conduct of the management team at this location has made me seriously reconsider whether I will continue shopping here. I sincerely hope corporate leadership takes a closer look at the customer experience and management professionalism at this store, because the current environment does not reflect the reputation Nordstrom has spent decades building.
