  The cashier that helped me, Simrat C., was not very friendly. I had a $100 giftcard and my total was $171. She asked if I was using cash or card and I let her know I had a giftcard and the rest would be on my debit card. She informed me she isn’t able to do split payments (not sure why?) I asked and was told she wasn’t allowed to (still not really an explanation when every other retail chain is able to do this.) So, I ended up just using my debit card and saved my giftcard. I also signed up for their free rewards program. The cashier asked me to sign up for their credit card and I politely declined. She then asked me again before I paid, and again. My interaction with Simrat was not very professional and I truly believe if you can’t smile or be nice to your customers, you probably should not work in retail. However, I do love this Nordstrom Rack location, and found some clothes & accessories for a great price. It’s a shame that this employee made my experience negative.
