  While the appearance of this place seems to be quite nice, however I do not recommend this pawn shop at all. This is not like a standard pawn shop at all, they have virtually no merchandise out on the floor. Which makes no sense because this place is pretty big, yet there's only like two shelfs with like just a few scattered items on them. They're basically trying to be a virtual pawn shop, meaning they sell about 95% of all the items online on eBay. And it's because of this that they are extremely picky to what they will or will not buy. This place didn't even want to buy a bunch of brand new items still sealed in the package, and it was even name brand stuff, the kind of items that would be perfect to sell on eBay.... And they either turn them down completely or said they would only offer dirt cheap pricing for them. And I want to be clear on this because I'm not stupid and I understand exactly what does and doesn't sell on eBay, or in a pawn shop in general. I think the second time I came in I did bring a bunch of no name brand stuff, it wasn't junk China crap but it wasn't name brand stuff either so I kind of understood when they only offered crappie prices on that stuff. But then the next time I came in with JBL items, which is literally as Good as it gets, and they still weren't excited and offered me absolutely ridiculously low prices that weren't even like 10% of retail. Which is a complete joke. They low-balled the living crap out of me and I had no choice but to take it because I had an extremely important bill do in 2 days. So do some things up basically all they want is the best of the best name brand stuff. And they will pretty much scoff and laugh at you if you bring anything less in. Even when you do bring them the name brand stuff then they just throw out some bull crap excuse to only give you like 10 to maybe 20% maximum of what it's worth so that they can make a killing off of it on eBay. Do yourself a big favor and avoid this place at all costs. Indy Pawn not only accepts 10x more stuff than this place does, but will actually give you a decent price as well. It does depend on a lot of factors but Indy Pawn has given me as much as 50% of an items retail value before. Where the most I've ever gotten from this pawn shop is like 15% on like one JBL item. The staff is snotty and acts like they're above everyone else, and knows what they're talking about. When clearly they don't. I have taken the same items that they turned down and sold them on either eBay or Facebook marketplace for three times or more what they offered... Thus completely proving exactly what they told me was bullcrap... This last time I went in just a few days ago, they hadn't changed one bit and weren't even interested in buying my $50 plus top-of-the-line Scosche battery packs that are selling like hotcakes for $30 each, and all I was going to ask for them was for 6-8 dollars each. Glad I walked out without even showing them all the other nice items I had for sale because of their crappy attitudes... Took a quick drive to the east side to Indy Pawn and got 10 to $15 each on every one of them. As well as all the other name brand stuff that I hadn't even pulled out of my bag yet. But that's their loss for having crappy attitudes, then you miss out on the even better stuff! So if you want a bougie, crappy attitude, want to be virtual pawn shop where they scoff at even your name brand items AND STILL offer you extremely horrible prices, then this is the place for you!! For anyone else who wants a real pawn shop experience, and actually wants real fair pricing ESPECIALLY for name brand items, head to the east side at Indy Pawn! It's worth the drive

  I have been a customer since the shop opened living about 5 mins away and have always had a positive experience except when Manager Diana is there. I get loans on the same musical instrument each time and have always returned to pay off the loan. I know the Associates at the store and they know me. But when she is there she has either denied the loan or dragged out the process. She is a Latino lady and when you see her interact with other Latinos it is all laughs and giggles but if you are not Latino there seems to be a totally different attitude. I have been a loyal customer since the opening day of the shop and have purchased many computer items and televisions, but I will take my business elsewhere
