  Walked into ALO not really knowing what I wanted and Alondra greeted me right away. I told her I was shopping for a gift for my partner and her outfit happened to be exactly the kind of fit my partner would love, so I asked about it and ended up grabbing the same set. From there she walked me through the best sellers she actually recommends, helped me figure out sizing, talked through colors, and pulled other options I wouldn’t have thought to look at on my own. I came in for one pair of leggings. I left over $500 deep because every single thing she put in front of me was perfect. Nothing felt pushy. She was just genuinely good at her job and clearly knows the product. Last time I was in this store the experience was rough, and honestly I almost didn’t come back. Alondra completely turned that around. If you go, ask for her. She is the reason this trip was worth the money and the drive.

  After reading other reviews describing similar experiences at this Alo location, I feel compelled to share an interaction I witnessed during my visit. A thin white male employee approached a young girl and instructed her not to sit on an empty clothing display. While I understand that merchandise displays are not intended for seating, what was concerning was that another child—a young white boy sitting on a similar display just a few steps away—was not addressed at all. Both children were engaging in the same behavior, yet only one was singled out, the one who was obviously not white. As a customer, the inconsistency in how the situation was handled left a negative impression. Selective enforcement of rules can create the perception of bias and unequal treatment. Businesses should strive to ensure that policies are applied fairly and consistently to all customers. As a business owner myself, I believe employee training and customer service are critical to creating a welcoming environment and encouraging repeat business. Experiences like this can leave customers like myself, feeling uncomfortable and unwilling to shop here. I hope Alo takes concerns such as these seriously and continues to invest in training that promotes fairness, professionalism, and respect for all customers.

  Horrible experience at this location. Will definitely not be returning back. Came in for an order pick up, as soon as I walked in with my sister the employee at the front side eyed another employee and smirked as if they were laughing. We felt extremely uncomfortable, and made sure to tell the lady that was at the cash register that as employees they can definitely use some lesson on how to greet others.

  First time coming to Alo, and when I walk in, I did not get greeted by the greater but the people behind me did. It is very obvious that they discriminate based on the clothes or ethnicity. First impression. Not coming back.
