  I’m very disappointed with my experience at the Marc Jacobs store. I was charged twice for the same handbag due to what I was told was a system error with the first transaction. I ultimately completed the purchase a second time, expecting the duplicate charge to be corrected promptly. It has now been two weeks, and I still have not received my refund or a clear resolution. I also have not received any meaningful follow-up regarding the issue, which has been extremely frustrating. I understand that technical issues can happen, but the lack of communication and the delay in resolving a duplicate charge is not the level of customer service I would expect from Marc Jacobs. I purchased the handbag in good faith and should not have to spend weeks trying to get back money that was charged in error. Unfortunately, this experience has left me very disappointed, and I will likely think twice about shopping at this store again.

  I drove 45 minutes one way to shop and decided to visit Marc Jacobs only to be given the wrong color in the item that I want specifically came back twice after visiting a different store… wish I would’ve just gone to Coach and spend my money there at this point, the person who gave me the wrong item was Sebastian. The mistake could have easily been avoided if the staff at the register simply double-checked the item before handing it over. Having worked in higher-end retail myself, I know the importance of accuracy and professionalism in these situations. I then had to drive another 45 minutes ONE WAY back to the store to get the correct item. Timothy assisted me the second time, but instead of offering an apology, he said, “Just so you know, it wasn’t me who gave you the wrong bag.” That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. A friendly piece of advice for the early afternoon staff at the register: focus on doing the job you’re paid for—instead of giggling, chatting, and treating it like social hour.
