I don’t recommend this shop. Firstly, they don’t inform clearly about prices and promotions. Secondly, the staff is very rude and unpleasant.

Listen. I've worked in retail. I did my time. I served my sentence. I know the hellscape that is working in retail...but sis if you can't do the job without the stank attitude, find a new job that's not forward facing. Went to return some jeans, but figured I'd try to find a couple pairs to exchange if I could. When I was ready to try them on, my husband found an associate and asked her if we could get a fitting room, to which she responded by telling him I'd have to press the button next to one of the doors. Okay, cool, nbd. I figured maybe there was a protocol or a supervisor would have to be the one to open the door or whatever. So I press the button and maybe 15 or so seconds later...the same associate comes and opens a door -- mind you, it was nowhere near the door I was standing at and she flings the door open hard enough for me to be able to catch it before it closes, but doesn't hold it open -- and then saunters off to be miserable and mad at the world while she folds her jeans....my sister in Christ, why did you make me press the button? Lmao! Why not just open a door when we first asked about it? Good luck in life sis. I fear it only gets worse from here šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

Yesterday I came in looking for some jeans for me and my hubbys baby shower coming up! We were looking for size 46 jeans since my hubby put on weight. He was nervous to shop since he put some weight on. The manager victoria had him try a size 44 to which they ended up fitting perfectly! She hyped him up and made him feel so confident in his own skin. Truly a great representation of the inclusivity plus sized people want to see! Will be coming back.

It’s true. The employees are rude and literally don’t want to do their job lol. I went into this location today to take advantage of a sale and buy some new jeans. I wasn’t exactly sure of my length and size so I tried on 6 different pairs of jeans. The girl at the dressing room said nothing to me, just opened a room for me and left. I said thank you and still no reply. After trying them on I nicely folded them back and left them in the dressing room as standard. I figured out my size and I decided to try on 2 pairs of shorts. When I finished and left the room, she looked at me and said ā€œdid you leave the ones you didn’t want in the dressing room?ā€ I replied ā€œyes….ā€ And she replied with an uncertain ā€œohā€¦ā€ like she was about to ask me to put the clothes back for her…. I have worked in retail all of my life and I thought it was the standard for the employee to put unwanted clothing back on the rack… she acted like I left the dressing room a complete mess but I folded all the clothes nicely so they’re easy to put back. I was also asking another girl who works there about the sales going on and she acted like I was bothering her, as soon as she finished talking to me she went back to talking to the employee and said ā€œsorry… anyways so as I was saying.ā€ Like dude, isn’t it your job to answer questions??? And the male at the front doing cashier was just giggling and laughing and talking on his phone the whole time, and also acted like it was a bother to ring me up. Don’t think I’ll be coming here again. My closest mall is old orchard but they don’t have an American eagle, only aerie. Apparently the Deerfield location is also as rude and unprofessional as this one according to reviews. So yeah, unless you don’t plan on trying on any clothes or asking the employees the simplest of questions, than this place is doable.
