  Do NOT shop here! Unfortunately, the return policy is very harsh and allows NO understanding for extreme circumstances. All employees were polite but utterly unwilling to accept a return that was 1 week over the maximum. I even found a defective item and asked if we could do an exchange: 1 pair of defective shorts for the three that did not fit my daughter. No luck! By the way, every single pair of shorts in the “curvy shortie” pile has a defect, with one leg hemmed shorter than the other by over 1/2 inch. Bring your ruler—it should get you a discount! I will not shop at AE or Aerie ever again.

  I entered the store and the girls working already seemed to be bothered by me being there. They were chitchatting while folding clothes I went over to find some jeans and picked some up to see and I didn’t like them so I put them back I folded them the best I could. They looked at me with such disgust and looked back at each other and started laughing and said something under their breath. I’m about the same age so I get it talking to a friend and someone coming in to give you more work sucks but I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and judged that I ended up leaving and ordering online because at the end of the day I just wanted some cute jeans.

  Good experience at American Eagle. The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and the clothes are very comfortable and good quality. Prices are reasonable and there is always a nice selection. Will definitely shop here again.
