I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Alo Yoga in Oak Brook, and I wanted to recognize Devon, I’m so sorry if I’m spelling his name wrong, for going above and beyond.
Over the last three years, I’ve been through cancer treatment and nearly nine surgeries. During that time, I lost a lot of strength and muscle and wasn’t able to be as active as I wanted to be. Recently, I’ve been able to start rebuilding my health, losing weight, and getting back into the gym. As part of that journey, I wanted to treat myself to workout clothes that would make me feel confident and excited about this new chapter.
When I came into the store, I picked out several items and headed to the fitting room. That’s where I met Devon, who helped me with sizing, made thoughtful suggestions, and helped me find pieces that worked well for me and made me feel good.
What stood out most was how patient, kind, and genuinely helpful he was. It didn’t feel like he was just doing his job, it felt like he truly cared about helping me feel comfortable and confident.
I left with pieces I absolutely love, including pants, a tank, a cardigan, a jacket, shoes, and matching socks. But more importantly, I left feeling excited and confident about getting back into fitness.
The Alo products themselves are fantastic: soft, supportive, comfortable, and high quality. But what truly made this shopping trip memorable was the customer service. Devon made me feel seen, cared for, and valued as a person, not just a customer.
