  Long store alert: I visited this place on June 27 and it started off great thanks to Ms. Leah. Her customer service skills were great. She help me find my correct bra size and all. The problem occurred when it was time to check out. Ms. Leah ask if this was my first time visiting Lane Bryant and I answered yes. She went on to explain that if I signed up to receive emails for promotions that I would receive an instant $5.00 discount on my purchase so I said sure, because who doesn't love an instant discount. So as she began to ring up my item the first item rung up as $14.99 sale price was $16.99, so I was loving it. But the next item rung up as $18.99 which should have been $16.99 and the last was also 18.99, totaling $60.78. So I ask why did the price go up as she rung up my items. Ms. Leah couldn't explain why so, she tell me to wait and she would get the Supervisors to help. Now when Gloria comes over she said she would take every thing off and re-ring my items to see why this problem occurred. So when she rung all the items and the price come out to be more than what Ms. Leah rung up. She tells me that this happened be Ms. LEAH had given me the discount for signing up to receive emails. So I tell her fine add the discount back. She tells me it's to late that she would give me a $25 dollar coupon for when I come back. I tell her I don't want that because I'm not coming back. Mine you, Ms. Leah was in the background saying that she could override it and Gloria said it couldn't. Gloria didn't display good customer service and she acted as if I was getting on her nerves. I became upset with the entire situation so I ask for corporates number. She go in the back for a few seconds then come back and gives me the discount for the $5.00. So I say oh now when I ask for corporates number I can get the discount. But just a few minutes ago you gave me a hard time saying it was to late and do I want the items or not. I could no longer get the promotion. I thank her for the discount and tell her I still need the number anyway. So She goes to the back again to get her boss who was nice as well but I didn't appreciate the way I was treated by Gloria. My over all experience with Ms. Leah was great it was Gloria who changes the experience. She really needs to work on her customer service still.

  Great experience at North Riverside store Brenda helped me out so much Took bak a couple of bras kept three and bought an outfit. She is so knowledgeable and reassuring Customer service at its best I’ve been going to that store probably since it was first there I no longer live in the area, but I do go to that store still.
