  they don't offer fair trade in. Brought over 80 dvds including collectors sets, like sex n the city. got $12. not the first time price for trade is low on all items.

  Such a disappointment selling books. First off they were not very welcoming or friendly at the buy back desk, sadly kind of rude. I had originally called and mentioned how I had a lot of kids chapter books to sell and if it was worth it to bring them. The person on the phone said absolutely and to bring them in. I lugged 5 large boxes with 100s of books. We then waited close to an hour to be told $18. I was surprised having so many books, some even unused and in great condition. I asked why and the person said in a condescending tone they don’t want them. When I said I would like my books back, he seemed very annoyed and gave me my boxes. He helped pack up on box then pushed the rest by me which I had to reach over to pack up. I was just disappointed because so many people recommended Half Price Books to sell and it was such a disappointing experience. Don’t get me wrong they have a good selection to buy from although many of the books and items you can get cheaper from Amazon or Scholastic Book Clubs.

  The staff at this store is so wonderful and kind. Got to meet the manager Noel today and he helped find some good reads for pride season. So happy this store exists.
