(Visited on 6/29/2026 at 11:45am). This location is awful. Great selection of clothes ONLY IF you want to deal with the attitude of the staff. I worked in retail (Victoria’s Secret) so I know how you’re supposed to be greeted and talked to when you enter the store. I walked in and the manager was standing next to the entrance…didn’t say hi, didn’t ask if i was looking for anything particular today, wasn’t told the promos or anything which is BASE LINE procedure when a customer enters the store. I was walking all over the store CLEARLY looking for something and the manager walked up to the girl working the register and started asking her “test questions” as she clearly had just started working there. Which is fine…but teach her how to greet people too! I walked around for TWENTY MINUTES looking for a strapless bra (i was in a hurry and had my toddler in hand) and not one single person asked me for help. Finally, i asked where i could find them, was met with attitude as if im an inconvenience and wasn’t asked if i needed a fitting or what size i was looking for. Then, i went to the fitting room thinking I’d have better luck there but the young girl clearly wasn’t trained in bra fitting, bra styling or any bra education at all. And maybe the culture is different at Aerie than VS but if you’re going to carry such expensive bras then you should probably have someone there that’s educated and can help customers efficiently. If i wasn’t a previous bra fitter, i would’ve had no idea what i was doing. And it sucks because my experience here was so much better back in January….taking my business back to Victoria’s Secret as this place is an absolute joke. It’d probably help if the manager stopped thinking she was the same age as her workers and actually led by example instead of trying to be cool or friends with them. The dynamic doesn’t make sense! The manager from before was WAY better. They want to rip off the Victoria’s Secret culture but don’t know how to talk to people with respect 🤣🤣 this location is a JOKE!

My friend and I saw some cute sets on TikTok and wanted to come in and try them on before purchasing. It was raining but on of our favorite things to do is rainy day shop! We were super excited because we know the Naperville location usually has a large selection of pieces. When we came in, about 5 workers were standing in a circle, talking about how “it’s ridiculous how people are coming in with this rain literally go home” and deadpan stared at my friend and I. There was another group of girls that came in and their conversation continued despite there being active customers in the store. We had to walk through the group talking and not one of them smiled or greeted us in anyway. There was no customer interaction by any staff. As someone who has worked retail myself, I found it was absolutely ridiculous how there was not even a smile. My friend and I both cut our experience short and both agreed we would rather shop online and deal with the hassle of returns then be treated like that because it felt borderline disrespectful.

I bought a pair of pants here a few weeks ago, wore them once, and the seam came apart. Tried to bring them in to find a resolution only to be told by a sales associate nothing could be done. Disappointed in the customer care.

My favorite store to come downtown 💞 the ladies are always so lovely ! People need to take a chill pill here they need to be more compassionate of these hard workers!!! shoppers feel so entitled for a discount! So clean always 💞
