  An emporium for outdoor activity supplies. I have been in a Cabella’s out in Gurnee Mills and I thought it was special because it was an attraction but after visiting this location I guess it is a standard. The kid in me enjoyed these attractions: aquarium and museum-like displays of taxidermy of animals in Illinois. I went to check out a stool that I saw online. I found some nifty camping stuff as well. Staff are very helpful.

  I can’t say enough good things about Rick in the Archery department at Cabela’s Hoffman Estates. He is the older gentleman with the long white hair, and if you need help with a bow, he is absolutely the person to see. My family has worked with Rick multiple times now, and every experience has been exceptional. He previously spent a lot of time helping my dad get his bow properly set up, and most recently I brought my compound bow in after the string derailed. Rick repaired it, went through the setup, tested everything, and made sure the bow was properly set up and ready to shoot. What really stands out about Rick is how patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful he is. He never makes you feel rushed or like you’re just another customer. He takes the time to explain things, make sure everything is right, and clearly takes pride in helping people enjoy archery safely and confidently. On top of all that, the amount we were charged for the work was incredibly reasonable considering the time and expertise he put into it. Employees like Rick are the reason people come back to a store instead of simply ordering everything online. My dad and I have both had fantastic experiences with him, and I genuinely hope Cabela’s management recognizes how valuable he is to the Hoffman Estates store. Rick is an absolute Gem to the Archery department and to Cabela’s. Thank you, Rick!

  Archery Dept Rick is an amazing arher and instructor. The knowledge he passed on to the wife and I has us is unreal. His teaching of stance, aiming and body position with so much detail. Too bad cabelas wouldn't allow them to work on my Mathews bow. But he ended fitting my wife with a new bow. We will stay loyal to the archery corner with this excellent treatment!

  If Archery 🏹 is an art then "RiCK" is an ARTIST. I bought crossbow & Rick helps me alot. I recently bought an compound bow & again RiCK helps me to understand the dynamics & physics behind Archery. I wish I can give 10+ 🌟 for Rick & his outstanding knowledge about Archery 🏹. Anyone wants to get a bow, ask for Rick in advance. I bet you will be amazed by his experience & knowledge.

  Found a used firearm listed online for this store. Tried calling 4 times across 5 hours or so to both the gun counter and to the gun library. All calls just rang with no awnser. left voicemails with my name and phone number. Then but and internet request in and got an email 3 days later saying it was sold already. This store has poor comunication and doesnt call back. Even if it was sold already would have liked a call just to inform me and let me know either way.
