  We recently came in on a Sunday, about 40 minutes before closing time and I was so pleased with the fishing department’s employees! We came in to purchase more line and hooks for my son’s fishing poles. We are not experts in fishing at all, my son recently took up this hobby so we had no clue what we should buy or where to look for it. Well I want to give a big shout out to Austin who showed us where the line was, gave us a few options and even helped us out by spooling his two rods. During our interactions, he was so kind to my 10 year old son and even taught him a knot for his hook. Our second interaction was with Nicholas, he was also extremely courteous and helpful! He showed us where the hooks were and helped us add a hook to one of my son’s rods. Thank you to both of them for their kindness and expertise! ☺️

  Really disappointed with my experience at Cabela’s Hoffman Estates. I drove an hour to get here because this is the closest Cabela’s location to me, only to arrive a few minutes before closing and be told the gun counter had already shut down its registers and they wouldn’t process my pickup order. What made it even more frustrating was hearing the employees discuss whether they wanted to do a return and then agree not to. It honestly came across as extremely lazy and dismissive toward a customer who had just driven an hour to get there. I completely understand that employees need time to close, but if the gun counter stops processing transactions before the store’s advertised closing time, that should be clearly posted so customers know beforehand and aren’t wasting a trip. Very frustrating experience and definitely not the customer service I expected from Cabela’s.

  I went here to get a new compound bow. As a somewhat new shooter I got very lucky to meet Rick. Rick was one of those unsuspecting employees who you think might be just an eager to help individual but you’d be wrong. Rick has been teaching archery for years and the conditions were perfect where he spent 15 minutes with me that improved my shooting significantly. Rick adjusted my bow and gave me pointers that were helpful and useful. I hope you’re as lucky as me and get to meet Rick.

  Cabela's es una tienda mágica donde podrás encontrar gorras ropa ,calzado para todo tipp de trabajo y deporte de exterior ,todo tipo de artículos para caza y pesca desde rifles ,señuelos ,cañas de pescar botes ,bicicletas muy bonitas un lugar que toda persona debe visitar ,en lo personal siempre que desee comprar algo de pescar regresaré a Cabela's pues tienen muy buenos precios en los señuelos

  I went to visit the archery section to begin my journey into the sport and met Rick. Rick was beyond helpful, guiding me through measurements, technique, and explaining the mechanics of every little detail. I learned so much more than I was expecting to from just walking into the store and have a newfound appreciation for what I hope to be a new hobby.
