  Bad customer service .. came to fix a mistake on their end, I wasn’t even upset about, accidents happen. what did upset me is I had to wait around in the back where all I can hear is giggling from the back room to then finally see Teresa . Very careless, I stressed to her my situation she heard it clear .. i was originally paying 400+ they upped it to 800+ i understood. I explained I needed my returned funds to be able to pay the new price . She proceeded to say they will be in my account since it hasn’t even been 2 days since I purchased or something about 20 days not passing .. we were at the register and I again asked her if id get the funds instantly because I really needed that order placed as I also told her it was commissioned and she still assured me that. She then said I needed the card I use to refund it to my card or she could give me a gift card with the amount I AGAIN told her if the money goes into my account right now I have no problem with whichever option she chose she then proceeded to get it refunded into my card … to come and find no instant refund. Couldn’t order my canvas that was now going to need a weekend to process.. I then told her why would she go on with a option she wasn’t sure of? And she just proceeded to go explain shipping ,pricing and how fast they’d work on it cause they have the measurements and how they could start once the order is placed and paid , didn’t say sorry up until the last part of the conversation where I told her I didn’t want to continue doing work here just left with my refund receipts to Lincoln park Blick where they helped me with no problem and offered me a better price and most importantly GOOD customer service … I was a consistent customer of Evanston blick ,honestly there are only a small handful of employees that are actually helpful here but I feel like Teresa was the last straw for me ..

  Highly recommend them for custom framing. Aja and Jack were patient and precise in making sure my project came out just right. Will be back for future framing jobs as well.

  i went in and fell in love with the place, I got stuff for what i calculated to be around 200-ish and they charged me 450 because i paid in cash. never going back again. i always read the price tags and calculate in my head. something ain't right with these people's technology or they are SCAMMERS

  So good to visit a brick & mortar art store. We are a family of artists & makers & they cover a lot of supplies we need. The handmade papers get me every time. Employees are super helpful & knowledgeable. Lots of tempting wee gifts too.
