I want to give a big shout out to Lindsey - my Sales Associate that I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting helped by at my last two visits here. She made me feel seen, hyped me up, and helped me have pieces that I absolutely cherish. I have never had real jewelry and I have never had any jewelry from such a timeless store. I used to be the girl that would window shop as a kid here dreaming about owning my own jewelry from here. My dreams have come true and I couldn’t be more thankful for a storefront that has employees that sees your visions and helps you make it come to life. I have an heirloom to remember my grandma by.

I’ve had multiple experiences with this business, and something that has stood out in a deeply concerning way is the complete lack of diversity among the staff I’ve interacted with. Frankly, it feels both offensive and unacceptable in this day and age.
Every time I’ve booked an L&E, it has never been with a person of color—not once perhaps this is because I’m looking for a more substantial piece. After a while, this stops feeling like coincidence and starts raising serious questions about hiring practices and inclusivity. Representation matters, especially in customer-facing roles, and the absence of it here is glaring.
What’s even more troubling is that this pattern suggests a deeper issue with leadership and oversight. It raises concerns about whether diversity and inclusion are being taken seriously at the decision-making level.
Businesses have a responsibility to reflect and respect the diversity of the communities they serve. Right now, this company falls far short. I hope leadership takes a hard look at this issue and makes meaningful changes, because as it stands, the lack of diversity is not just disappointing—it’s disturbing.
