  I’ve been wanting to check this place out so I finally did. It was super disappointing that an alt/goth store is NOT size inclusive in this day and age. I’m a true 2X-3X women’s and there I was just hoping to see my size. I only found one 2X piece… please understand that a size XXL is much smaller (like a big XL) there is a difference between it & a 2X yet they circled XXL as a 2X on tags. I asked an employee if they carried the 3X (it’s on all tags) and they said not really basically. Sure it’s a well organized store full of eye candy but not worth going to (only if you’re smaller and willing to pay mark up prices to support a local business & try stuff on.) Definitely won’t be back!

  I have been shopping at the alley sence 1996.... I ordered a belt buckle online and there was an issue with that particular buckle. I was given the option of a refund or pick out another buckle. I sent 3 different options of others I enjoy. When I received my package with the "new" buckle the was also a T-shirt, patch,pin and a hand full of stickers! Truly above and beyond to make their customers happy! Will continue to support this amazing small, family owned business as much as possible! Thank you for another great experience with the Alley!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

  New location (to me anyway) in the know and relaxed staff, artist outside the store was amazing (bought some of his work) and my daughter was thrilled!

  First time in from out of state. Place was super rad, and I'm looking forward to coming back. Employees were friendly, and prices were pretty decent.

  Awesome and super helpful staff! Great selection of gothic/alternative clothes and accessories. This store is honestly one of the only things I come up to Chicago for. Can't recommend them enough!
