  This is one of those stores I genuinely enjoy visiting, even when I don’t have anything specific in mind. There’s a huge variety of products, the store is clean and easy to get around, and having free parking makes stopping in much more convenient. What really stands out, though, is the staff. The customer service team knows their products extremely well and has always been helpful when I have questions. Whether I’m browsing for fun or hunting down one particular item, I always leave glad I stopped by.

  The employees who work have no customer service skills or any idea of how to work their systems. The lines are always extremely long and it takes incredibly long to check out. I’m currently standing in line and have been waiting at the register for 25 minutes looking at a line of 15 faces all disappointed and frustrated with how long we’ve been waiting for. No sense of urgency to work through their customer lines at a decent pace. This time I had a gift card that I wanted to use and the associate checking me out scratched the card so hard that the access code was illegible. This resulted in having to wait 25 minutes to check out and two different managers attempting to figure out how to issue the gift card. Worst of all, the associate who created the issue never apologized for the extended wait time. I would avoid this location and go to the Nordstrom rack on Chicago Avenue.

  Who’s the merchandiser for this location? The men’s selection is really bad. It’s completely packed with things no stylish person would ever wear. I go all of the time and I see so many guys look around and never buy anything. Nordstrom rack has fallen off big time. Even the shoe selection is bad now. Not only are they worse quality, the price has increased on a lot of items. Why not spend a little less or the same price and go to Zara, Mango, or even Premark at this point. Such a loss. Hope it improves.
