  Had a wonderful experience being assisted by Shiven. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I had no knowledge of suits and Shiven took good care of me.

  Charles Tyrwhitt came highly recommended by a trusted friend, so our disappointing experience was unexpected. During our initial visit, the staff were prompt and helped me find the shirt style and color I wanted. Because even the ultra‑slim fit was too loose on my frame, I needed the cuffs shortened and the torso taken in. We were explicitly assured that while the cuffs would be altered at the warehouse, any additional tailoring could be measured and completed onsite once the shirt arrived. When I returned to pick up the shirt, I was simply handed a package and sent on my way. I asked to try it on, which seemed to confuse the staff, though they eventually helped me unpack it and locate a fitting room. As expected, the cuffs were correct, but the torso still needed to be taken in. At that point I was told that no one could assist with further alterations, recommend a tailor, or even pin the shirt. For a business that presents itself as a men’s dress shop, that lack of basic tailoring support is extremely unusual and frankly unacceptable. Had the staff been upfront about their limitations, I wouldn’t have wasted my time or money. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. I genuinely like the shirt and the style, but the service fell well below expectations.

  I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was absolutely worth sharing. I visited the Charles Tyrwhitt store in Chicago while I was in town in May, and Kalen Jones provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me find exactly what I needed. What impressed me the most is that I live in California, and after returning home, I chose to place an order over the phone specifically through Kalen because of how exceptional she was. In a time when great customer service can be hard to find, Kalen truly stands out. Charles Tyrwhitt is fortunate to have someone like her representing the brand. If you’re shopping at the Chicago location, I highly recommend asking for Kalen.

  Great clothes! Incompetent in store customer service. I stopped in because I had just made a purchase with Charles Tyrwhitt online and I was sent a special offer with an expiration of two weeks. Mentioned that I had tried to use the offer online unsuccessfully and wanted to be sure that the offer was good at the location prior to using it. Staff examined it and assured me they would take care of me. Spent 90 minutes headed to the register and apparently they offer couldn't be applied because the store was running a 4th of July sale which made every item in the store a sale item and therefore the offer which didn't include sale items wasn't valid. The staff actually recommended that I fly back to Chicago again to use it. I'm so baffled I sincerely don't know what to say ...

  Excellent store with excellent inventory options and customer service. I’m really happy with the attention I received from the girls that worked there.
