  this location was a totally different experience. the checkout lines are in the middle of the sock area, so i was standing right there, items in hand…..visibly waiting. 3 employees were just standing around talking and called 3 other people that were in line after I was there. the only person who actually helped me was the one who had been with another customer the entire time ~ she called for me the second she was done. won’t be back to this location, reviews are right.

  The cashier girl clearly hates her job. She gave no greetings, looked accusatoraily at me waiting to check out and only said "are you ready?" She didn't like handling my subsequent questions at all. When she received payment, she rolled up the top I purchased and threw it in the bag. I've never shopped at a clothing store where the cashier doesn't fold the items before placing them in a bag. I was horrified throughout the checkout experience. I wonder what made her carry such a hostile attitude doing a customer service job. I will not recommend the store to others to avoid poor treatment.

  If I could give them a zero I would. Don’t work in customer service if you don’t want to help ppl. If You’re have a bad day call off and stay home. I ended up just returning my items and getting a gift card. They will NEVER catch me in the Michigan Ave location store ever again.

  The black girl with braids is very rude with attitude. At this point the only decent people are the security at the door

  I was excited to be able to see these clothes in person and try on as we do not have one where we live. I have never been in a store and felt so unwanted or uncomfortable. Not one greeting, not one offer to help, but there were literally employees everywhere just staring to make sure I didn’t steal anything. My kids came to the fitting room to see if I found anything (ages 9 and 2) and the employee told them they could not be back there with his converse shopping bag. Not in a kind way, but in a very judgmental way. I understand shoplifting is an issue in Chicago but this is Alo. My family and I are treated with more respect and dignity at high end stores like Ralph Lauren or Burberry.
