The young fella at the gun counter likes to pick and choose who he serves. Excuse me, my money is just as good as anyone else's! The eye roll is what got me! We waiting while he piddle paddled around and then help another customer. We stood at the counter with a gun on top of the counter wanting to purchase a scope and get it mounted. The sales man hum hawed around with the other customer, no sale. When that customer walked away he started talking to a fella that had just walked up. When I spoke up and said "excuse me" he gave an eye roll and grumbled something. My husband grabbed his rifle off the counter and cussed. We'll take our business elsewhere.

If you have to shop here, only use the website. Last night bought glass for two rifles. Almost bought mid rings, associate advised low would be better, caused it to not fit, and opened so can't return it. Was pleasantly surprised they had the specific dot/magnifier I was looking for in stock. He said "there's been a lot of issues with the sku's, I'll fix them though." and because I wasn't paying attention he rang up the wrong box, two years older and $30 more. Noticed before I opened it at home, returned today with receipt, unopened, but still had to get my card out of the car.
After all this, figured honest mistake, walked all the way back to optics, sure enough, the one I want on the shelf, same price tag at $30 less, and I watched for almost 30 minutes as two associates behind the counter fully dedicated themselves to helping other customers, and two more just kind of... wandered around behind the counter. No reason to shop here in person, ever. Even the child's fishing pole we bought for $20 was almost a loss until I opened the reel, cut about two thirds of the line out because of how tangled it was. Won't be returning.

Its a shell of its former glory. Prices are high, unless its a clearance sale. Selection is limited except for premium brands. The gun counter has an average selection of items and an excess of gun experts that regurgitate internet gun lore. Optics selection and knife selection are limited.

I’ve been going to the Twin Falls store my whole life. They have always been amazing. I recently bought a bow and called in to see if they could re-string the bow and set me up with triggers, arrows, tips, etc.. I called in several days before spoke with a rep and he said absolutely bring it in Saturday as the guy who does that will be in store on Saturday. I drove to twin that Friday and asked the if it was still okay to bring the bow in and the guy I spoke with was amazing. He said bring it by on Saturday. Saturday morning I got up and drove the 2 hours into town to drop the bow off. As soon as I walked into the store I was told they have an event going on and I should bring the bow back next week. I brought up that I had called ahead and verified that I could drop it off and the guy said “well you are misinformed” come on. I waisted fuel and my time driving into town just to be told no. I understand that the event was taking place and it was all hands on deck but being told that the archery guy will only be there on Saturday and that’s the best time to bring it by then being told no go away is really aggravating and frustrating.

Helpful and attentive staff. Great hiking boot selection and fishing gear section.
Must be the greatest store parking lot ever. Bought Merrell boots, walked outside and broke them in on the Canyon Rim Trail.
