  Specifically asked two employees if the lawn mower works and if they tested them out, two employees said yes. Got home to mow my lawn and the thing doesn’t work. Called and asked to return it and they said it’s sold as is. Very disappointing

  I was overcharged, I bought a package of 4 small kids plastic cups and the package was sealed it had a price tag on the package for $1. I also bought 3 small cups for the kids and they were all stacked together, they weren’t packaged but the 3rd cup on the bottom said $.75, the other 2 had no price stickers on them. so the total I was charged for the 4 set of cups came out to $4 and for the set of 3 cups $2.25 so basically I was ripped off, not a great big deal, however, you go in to save money and you end up spending more than you budget for. I called the following day after I noticed I was overcharged and I requested to speak to the manager and the man who answered the phone said he was a manager, so I explained what happened as simply as I could but he was rude, he said he was gonna look into the cameras, as if I was the one stealing when it was his cashier that didn’t know how to charge for the merchandise and then he rudely said I “MAY” call you back and that was almost a week ago and he hasn’t called me back. I am on retirement and I have a limited budget . I did my share of work in the workforce, some may say oh it’s just a small amount but when you rely on every dollar to stay within your budget, $6.25 could buy you breakfast from the market. I will never buy anything from Deseret industries thrift store again. I believe everybody deserves a second chance, but the reason for my never wanting to go back there again is because the manager first of all had no friendly tone in his voice, sounded like he was aggravated for my call, if he can’t take the pressure, then he shouldn’t work there, maybe he should find work elsewhere and as for the cashier, he needs to be trained because he does not know how to price the products .

  Not a big selection and clothes are pretty wore out.

  This place rocks! They have very fair pricing and a solid assortment of goods. Super clean store too!
