  Sportsman’s advertises that they price match, but every time I’ve tried to use that policy at this location, it turns into a huge ordeal. Most recently, I bought a pair of ear protection that qualified for a price match. What should have been a simple transaction turned into about 45 minutes of employees going back and forth and “talking to the manager” before they finally approved it. I’ve had essentially the same experience trying to price match shotgun ammo in the past. My buddy also experiences this, so I know I'm not the only person experiencing this. If you’re going to advertise a price-match policy, I shouldn’t be made to feel like I am asking for some special. Either honor the policy without making it a hassle every time, or stop advertising it. I’ve always loved Sportsman’s and would prefer to shop there, but this particular location is a giant pain in the neck. It honestly feels like they’re trying to convince me to shop somewhere else. SCHEELS also price matches and, even though they’re a little farther from my house, at some point the drive is easier and faster than spending 45 minutes trying to get Sportsman’s to honor its own advertised policy.   Price match isn’t real. Guaranteed Best Prices “If You Find A Lower Price Elsewhere – Online Or In Stores – Show Us The Ad And We’ll Beat It By 1%” Yeah except it has exclusions that make it basically just words that sound nice. Apparently Amazon, the largest online retailer in the world is not covered by price match at sportsman’s. I came into a sportsman’s today looking for a holosun 407c 2moa red dot. They had the exact model in stock and on display for $244, but on Amazon the exact same model of optic was $185, an almost $60 difference in price, the Amazon listing wasn’t on sale, it was the EXACT same product, and it was a legit listing #1 best seller, 1,600 reviews and officially sold by holosun. So it was a case of the product just being cheaper elsewhere and you guys not willing to price match. It didn’t help that the guy behind the counter was very gruff and didn’t seem interested in helping me. He just said “we don’t price match amazon”. It was annoying because I drove down to a physical location and it was a waste of time, aparently I need to read the whole entire price match policy so I understand that you guys won’t price match your biggest competitor. I’ve been a sportsman’s customer for years, bought my first gun at this location. But it’s really gone down hill with bad pricing and crappy business practices like this price match policy. You guys missed out on a $250 sale today, I was gonna buy several boxes of ammo too. At a store that has more employees than customers on a Saturday morning. instead I’ll just go to my local gun shop, their ammo prices are better and their selection is better. Why wouldn’t I just go to sheels? Why not just buy it cheaper on Amazon, why not just support your local gun shop. Why not.

  Colton is exceptional, friendly, competent and knows exactly got to do his job with a great attitude. I was in a hurry to get my hunting tags and he knew exactly what do and did it with a smile. If I see him working I will certainly go to him. He deserves a raise, a promotion or at least a thank you from management
