Opened in 2000, Sportsman’s Warehouse in Idaho Falls, ID is near Yellowstone National Park, Island Park, Grand Targhee, and Yellowstone Bear World. National gunsmithing services are now available! If you like elk, deer, and pronghorn antelope hunting, we’re here to get you all set up with everything you need. If fishing is more your speed, we have all of your tackle to catch the bass, salmon, trout, or steelhead that you’re after. We can tell you how the fishing is at Henry’s Fork, South Fork, Ririe Reservoir, or Palisades Reservoir. We also carry plenty of supplies for ATV’s, backpacking, camping, hiking, shooting, trapping, archery, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and watersports. Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount and boresight rifle scopes, cut arrows, tune bows in our 10-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. Whether it’s a cold, snowy winter or 90-degree summer day, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out local events like the Ammon Days, the War Bonnet Roundup Rodeo, and the Melaleuca Freedom Days Celebration.

- CPClayton PiazzaMay 2, 20261.0Yes 1 star. This store has changed drastically in the last 3 years in your fishing department. Today is was prepared to spend $400+ and I only spent $28. Why you ask? That’s easy, you dopes no longer stock the fishing gear that was stocked 3 years ago. I asked your manager what happened and he said that he has no control in what corporate stocks for inventory. So this message is for corporate, You currently have awesome managers and employees and your tying their hands behind their backs and not allowing them to do their jobs. I know your store manager personally and he is very familiar with the fishing equipment that your regional store needs to stock. So guess what I did, I bought most of my fishing gear on Amazon and did not buy locally and did not support my local business. This is my message because of you corporate dopes, local customers like myself are spending our money to China/Amazon on line. Please don’t reply with one of those (sorry about your experience chain messages) ,do this, make sure the corporate dopes read this message and allow your trusted manager to handle his own inventory.

The store is clean, organized well, and easy to browse, which makes it enjoyable to stop in even when I’m just looking around. I especially love their selection of apparel and footwear. They carry quality brands, and I can usually find exactly what I’m looking for. The dog section is another favorite of mine. They have a nice variety of treats and toys. One of my favorite things about sportsmans is that I can bring my dog inside. It makes the shopping experience even better, and she loves the extra attention and treats. My dog is especially cute in her purple coat we purchased there. Even though I haven’t purchased firearms, I’ve spent time browsing, and the service is always friendly and professional. The staff are approachable and helpful. Overall, it’s a welcoming place with consistently good service, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.
