Bright and clean store, but the prices are a bit high. You can still find good deals though.

Today my mother-in-law and I went to the D.I. in Ammon and both found some great stuff. Unfortunately, our experience at checkout was frustrating. My mother-in-law found two pans, both clearly marked with $1 stickers. When the cashier scanned them, she said they normally don’t price pans at $1. My mother-in-law explained that she grabbed them because they were marked $1, but the cashier became sassy and started accusing her of switching price tags. The manager was called over, and he also questioned her about switching the tags, saying they normally price pans at $4–$5. He then took the pans to have them repriced. My mother-in-law also purchased a larger pot with a lid. When the cashier scanned it, she separated the lid and said they price lids separately, even though it was clearly a set. The manager confirmed that the lid would be an additional $1. It’s not about the extra dollar. It’s about how we were treated and being accused of switching price tags when the items were clearly marked. We understand that pricing policies exist, but there was no reason for the attitude or accusations. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to the D.I. in Ammon.
