Loved this place and shopped here for years, just had a pair of sunglasses delivered this week, tried them on, didn’t like the fit, boxed them up and took them back a few days later. Manager Garth gave us a hard time saying there was a scratch on the lens, they were literally out of the box for 10 seconds and definitely not scratched, guy was just pointing at some phantom scratch, they took them back eventually but what a joke this place is now, plenty of other places to shop with better prices and definitely better customer service, read other recent reviews which all comment on poor staff experience here, moving on, see ya

Worst experience ever. The employees were racist and made very inappropriate comments to me and my family. One employee asked me if I was “from here,” then called my nephew “a lot” and told his mom he didn’t need any more sugar because he already had candy. He even went as far as saying he felt bad for me because I had to take care of him. The comments were disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Great selection, but some employees leave a lot to be desired. If I am coming into a store, prepared to drop $150 - $200+ (average shoe prices anymore) on a pair of shoes, please at least acknowledge my presence. I don’t feel that I should have to seek you out. If you are going to gate keep the shoes, preventing customers from independently trying shoes on, and forcing us to interact with you, stop playing on your phones, chatting, etc. and focus on your customers. I’m not going to seek you out and beg you to assist me while I try on shoes. There were multiple employees standing around, refusing to acknowledge me on a non-busy, weekday afternoon. I came in with every intention of buying a specific pair of shoes but I’m not dropping that kind of cash without so much as seeing what they look like on my feet. I left extremely frustrated and took my business elsewhere - where I was promptly attended to & I purchased my shoes. Scheels lost out on my sale (not that it matters in the grand scheme) due to their employees being too focused on social hour, not on the customers readily willing to spend their money. I will definitely think twice about returning here due to this experience. Good customer service is already so difficult to come by, this store unfortunately fell victim to having lazy employees who don’t want to work.

well i hate leaving bad reviews but this situation over did it. I dont know what kind training you provide to your guys in a gun department but my experience was horrible. Purchasing a new gun for my birthday the attitude from your employer Tristen was arrogant and rude. First i asked him about the gun and he tells me it comes with 3 magasins waited a week to get the gun came to pick it up it came with 2 mags i asked him about it he said rudley it comes with 2. Did the paper work waiting to get the gun from the beck room got the gun went to my car got the gun out of the box pull the slide beck try to relis it the gun jammed went straight back to the store i found Tristen he started to call me boss with attided how can he help me explain to him whats going on he started jerking the gun and said all of that is ok the gun is new and needs to get 300-500 rounds and its going to work after that and again called me boss(what else can i do for you boss). Before this i opened sheels credit card first time he had hard time explaining to me aboit card and got anoyed when i asked him about 75$ that you get and he said i will get another 25$ when i picked up the gun i neverd did get 25$. Just want to state and not breg about it that i spend over $10k sinc last year purchasing 5 guns and a lot of ammo sinc 2025 i know there is another customers spending more or less then me, but the point i just need normal customer service with litle bit respect no attitude and for all of those resons you lost me as a customer and similar expiriance i had with bass pro shop and im not shoping there ether.
