- DKDM KlarJul 23, 20265.0My cooler had a broken bracket that holds the strap in place. I brought it to Scheels to see if they had any spare parts since I bought it there several years ago. They looked it up and said they do not carry that model and don’t have spares. Instead of letting me leave they took the cooler to the bike dept and they put a new screw in for the bracket and glued it. Great customer service and went above and beyond for me. I love this store.

Out of all the times I've came to scheels and bought minnows I've never had to have someone help me get water in my bucket and get my scoops of minnows. We are grown adults I know how to put water in my bucket and count 3 scoops into my bucket. I don't need some Grey hair and some young kid from the bike center steering me down and making sure they help me. They were rude because I chose to put regular tap water into my bucket as I dump the minnows into my treated livewell anyway. Then the guy rudely counted 3 skimpy scoops into my bucket and didn't say anything as I walked away to go pay for them. I will take all my business elsewhere. I won't shop scheels again.

In the last 10 years my husband has bought new club sets that have eventually had defects or been broken and scheels has worked with the companies to replace the entire club set at no charge. We also have had good experience with the gun department. Staff is always friendly and professional.
