Sales associate was willing to correct, but manager wouldn’t allow it. Then made it a point to scold her, she was just trying to make things right. Will not be returning to J.C Penney here or elsewhere. You are dooming your own future.

It was lipstick from the beauty section, I used them both once and they were awful. Now I'm out money for no reason because no one who worked there actually knew the return policy. Get a staff who knows what they're doing. The first time I was rang up the girl color matched me for foundation but never put the foundation on the sales receipt so I never got to have it. She also screwed up my hair that was done for a special occasion by getting sticky clear lip gloss in my hair. Never going back, especially since Sephora and Ulta will let me return after using 75% of a product and you all wouldn't even let me return 98% of the item to you... JC Penney used to be good once right?

- TCTyler CrumpApr 3, 20261.0The shoe return policy is too strict. I bought a pair of shoes, I tried them on, and they fit. After leaving the store and walking in them, I found they hurt my feet. I used them to walk on a treadmill a few times. I tried to return them and was told that wearing the shoes outside the store means they wont accept them. I had the receipt and it was well under 30 days.
