  Dear American Eagle Outfitters Customer Service, I am writing to express my concern regarding my recent visit to your Waikele location on April 19, 2026, at around 3:00 PM. I have been a loyal American Eagle customer since moving to the United States, and I have always appreciated the quality of your products. However, my experience during this visit was very disappointing. While browsing the denim section, I was looking through both the display items and those on the shelves to better view the available styles. During this time, an employee—whose name I believe was Calissa or Clarissa—approached me in a manner that made me feel uncomfortable and, frankly, discriminated against. The way she addressed me gave the impression that I was not welcome to check or touch the items on the shelves, as if I might make a mess or could not afford the products. I want to emphasize that I was simply browsing respectfully, as any customer would. Regardless of anyone’s background or profession, no customer should be made to feel judged or unwelcome in your store. This experience was upsetting, especially since it is the first time I have encountered such treatment at any of your locations. I hope this matter can be reviewed and addressed appropriately to ensure a more welcoming environment for all customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
