  I went in just a couple of days ago to sell a bag and I was offered seven dollars for it. I declined and then went back a couple of days later and I was told that they would not take it. The individual who helped me said that they would never have offered seven dollars for it anyway, and she checked with someone else to see if they could take it and apparently that person said no, but I saw that person that she spoke with and that was actually the original person who told me she would give me seven dollars for it so I definitely don’t recommend them. They are liars.

  Not sure why the reviews are low, i had a good experience while selling my clothes. I was quoted 45 minutes for 3 bags of clothes which i thought was fair! I got offered 50 bucks. I’m satisfied with my trip and will be selling soon! Keep up the good work!

  ⭐️ 1 Star Extremely disappointing experience at this Plato’s Closet. I brought in TWO large, heavy-duty trash bags filled with clothing, including brand-new items, and was told by an employee named Jasmine that she went through everything in approximately 20 minutes and that they could not accept a single item. I find that extremely hard to believe given the amount of clothing I brought in. I completely understand that Plato’s Closet has standards and may not accept every item, but to tell me that absolutely nothing from two large bags could be accepted after only about 20 minutes makes me question whether my items were actually reviewed thoroughly. What made the experience even worse was Jasmine’s attitude from the moment I walked in. She was staring at me when I entered, did not greet me, and was extremely rude and unwelcoming throughout the interaction. My boyfriend was also present and noticed her behavior. I am requesting that management review this situation because I do not feel my clothing was properly evaluated, and I would like the opportunity to have it reviewed by another employee or an actual manager. I NEED TO SPEAK TO A REAL MANAGER ASAP. Please have someone from management contact me directly regarding this situation.

  Waste of time trying to sell here. It took double the amount of time they said and all I made back was the amount I spent grabbing a bite to kill time while it took so long. The stuff they have looks 15 years old it makes no sense the things they say no to.

  I rode all the way from Brookhaven. The website says lightly used clothes. I had several brand new items. I waited for 30 minutes for yhem to tell me they only take teenage stuff and casual sneakers, so they were unable to take anything. The website doesn't say anything about age restrictions or any other restrictions for that matter. They also don't take anything brand name!!! If any of this was mentioned on the website, I wouldn't have wasted my time and gas! My advice... call the storeto see what they take because they don't take just any quality clothes. Also, make an appointment because they don't tell you you may have to wait 45 minutes to an hour
