  I’m so upset with Southpoint Location in McDonugh Georgia. I have 3 kids and all three of my kids grew up wearing JcPenneys. They are now grown, and today I heard some disturbing news from my grown son a black male who was profile in there today while shopping for work clothes. It was to the point where the Henry County police was called. Everyone don’t steal and they have off days where they do dress down and go in stores to shop. I will never shop in store again. The mangers need to train their employees better when it comes to profiling everyone that comes in their store to shop. My son has a very good job, and that was so disturbing to him to have 3 police officers surrounding him when he has never been in any trouble. I am mad and these people need to stop profiling our black males. I guarantee he wasn’t rude because I didn’t raise him to disrespect nobody and this is coming from a single parent who raised a man.

  I'm currently asking for someone to measure my bra size. The lady that works here got on the intercom to let the person know to come to the bra department. Someone came and whispered to the other employee and everyone disappeared. I waited 15 minutes and left.

  I was in this store today, Aug. 16, Sunday at @ 5:50 pm. I found shoes that I wanted to buy. I got in line behind one other customer, and there was one being checked out. The cashier was in absolutely no hurry. It took at least 10minutes after I got in line for her to be checked out. The lady in front of me walked up with a couple of items, and an older gentleman walked behind the counter to help the cashier. They acted like they were closing on a real estate property. It was totally amazing at how complex it was to just accept payment and let the customer leave. It took an inordinate amount of time. It was hot in the store. The lady behind me was very irritated. I finally told the cashier “This is insane, totally insane! I give up!” I tossed the shoebox on a rack of towels and left. I pity the other people who were behind me in line.

  I placed an online order for almost $200 worth of back-to-school clothing for my nephew who lives in Georgia (I live in another state). Everything seemed to go smoothly, and I even received an email the day before pickup stating that my order was ready a day early. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill as soon as his grandmother arrived at the store to pick it up. The pickup area/system was not functioning properly, and she had to wait more than 20 minutes while employees searched for the items. To make matters worse, several clothing items were missing from the order, including some of the more expensive pieces, and they were not even in the bags. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of apology or acknowledgment for the inconvenience and excessive wait. What should have been a quick and simple pickup turned into nearly a 40-minute visit for an order that was supposed to be prepared and ready for pickup. The customer service at this location was extremely disappointing. After spending nearly $200 and going through this experience, I will never shop at this location again and cannot recommend it to anyone. JCPenney needs to seriously improve both its order pickup process and the level of customer service provided at this store.

  Very little selection in girls section. Everything was jumbled. The bathroom was out of order, only one fitting room was open, and the employees were rude.
