  I would like to begin by expressing how disappointed and dissatisfied I am with the way my sister and I were treated during our recent visit to the store. From the moment we entered the store, we felt as though we were being judged based on our appearance. The store manager, Rome, repeatedly looked my sister and me up and down in a way that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. His facial expressions and overall attitude came across as rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. We continued shopping despite how uncomfortable the interaction made us feel. My sister was interested in purchasing a pair of boots that cost approximately $300. When we asked if another pair could be brought out from the back in a fresh box, rather than purchasing the display pair, the manager appeared unwilling to assist us. Instead of making an effort to check for another pair, he attempted to offer the display shoes. As customers, we should not have to feel as though we are being judged or treated differently based on our appearance. We were prepared to make a purchase and had every intention of doing so, but the manager's behavior made us feel unwelcome in the store. At that point, I politely told my sister, "Let's go ahead and leave the store." I did not want the situation to escalate, especially while the manager continued to look at us in a rude and disrespectful manner. I want to be very clear that this complaint is not about whether the store had another pair of boots available. It is about the way we were treated and the lack of customer service we received. Every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism, regardless of their appearance, age, race, or how they may be perceived. I was especially disappointed because this is a luxury brand, and I expected a much higher standard of customer service. I also have served in the military, and I understand the importance of professionalism, respect, and treating people with dignity. I am requesting that corporate management look into this incident and speak with the store manager regarding his conduct toward customers. I would also appreciate having someone from corporate contact me to discuss this matter further. I intend to continue following up because I believe this type of customer treatment is unacceptable and should be addressed. Customers should be able to walk into a store, shop comfortably, ask questions, and receive assistance without feeling judged, disrespected, or unwelcome.   Amazing staff from the associates to the managers every single visit. Although this location is still fairly new, the atmosphere easily surpasses many other stores at Tanger or even in the malls. I absolutely love this store, and especially this location in particular. I will definitely be back! Special thanks to DeeDee, Darnell, Rachel, and Eric. This holiday season was truly fabulous thanks to them.
