As I’m casually looking around I’ll hear someone behind me say, “Excuse me sir. I have some great vacation options for you!” I quickly run away.

The offer was presented as a simple and attractive vacation deal, but the real requirements, income qualifications, cancellation rules, and mandatory two-hour sales presentation were not clearly explained upfront. Only before two weeks of my schedule trip, did Bluegreen start asking for personal and income-related information. If you do not meet their requirements or cannot attend their two-hour presentation at their scheduled time, they will cancel your trip. This is especially frustrating for people who already planned real vacation activities, such as boat trips, fishing trips, or tours. In my opinion, they make the offer sound easy, collect money, and then create conditions that can cause customers to lose the trip. I am filing a report to BBB and FTC about this experience. Bluegreen Vacations is now full of lawsuits. Bass Pro Shops should be ashamed for allowing this kind of promotion inside their store.
