  I absolutely love my new rings! My precious husband wanted to upgrade my wedding band and engagement ring for our 25th anniversary. We're not knowledgeable about the jewelry world and were daunted at the process. Rachel helped us every step of the way, giving us such peace of mind. She didn't just try to make a sale. She helped educate us and truly cared. We were in her shop a few times before we finally made our purchase. Every person working there is lovely and warm. We had nothing but wonderful service and at the end of it all walked away with the most beautiful rings. Lord willing, they will be cherished for our next quarter century and beyond. Thank you, Rachel and everyone at The Gold Shop. ❤️

  Brought what I believed was a 14-karat gold bracelet to them to be clasped and cleaned, they did not test bracelet in store but did take on the task of soldering a new clasp and instead of contacting me to let me know it was not a real 14 karat gold bracelet they still put the clasp on a bracelet that they then removed all of the gold plating off of the clasp fittings and charged me $120 to put a gold clasp on it without even contacting me to let me know whether or not to go through with such a thing, and it was not cleaned... This is not professional in truth...

  Rachel was genuinely amazing. I was honestly really nervous about looking for a wedding band because I had a pretty sad experience with the jeweler where my engagement ring was originally purchased. My fiancé and I met while going to school at around the Gainesville/Dahlonega area, so finding a local jeweler felt really special to us and like a way to keep this part of our story close to where it all started. I originally found The Gold Shop online because I saw a beautiful pearl band that I thought could potentially be my wedding band. When I went in and met Rachel, she immediately made the whole experience feel so much less intimidating. She listened to me, answered all of my questions, and taught me so much. Not only about choosing a wedding band, but even about how to better care for my engagement ring. I especially appreciated how honest she was with me. I told her that I’m pretty clumsy, and she explained that pearls are more delicate and that the band I loved probably wouldn’t be the best choice for me as an everyday wedding band. Instead, she suggested it could be a beautiful anniversary or special-occasion ring one day. I really appreciated that she cared more about helping me understand what would actually work for me than just telling me what I wanted to hear. I had built up so much anxiety around finding our wedding bands or even setting foot into a jeweler again so much that I went with my friend instead of my fiancée so he wouldn’t have to see me get scared or sad because of the process. Rachel somehow made the whole thing so fun. I left feeling excited about looking for our rings instead of scared of the process. It was such a different experience from what I had gone through before, and I’m just really thankful we found her.
