I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an interaction I recently had at this Beals location.
During my visit, I experienced an urgent situation and politely asked a member of management Alicia if I could use the restroom. Instead of acknowledging my request or providing any assistance, she ignored me and proceeded directly into her office, leaving me standing there without a response. I found this behavior unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful.
As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. The interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, to the point that I chose to leave the store. Afterward, I noticed that similar concerns regarding customer service at this location have been mentioned in previous online reviews, which suggests this may not be an isolated incident.
I understand that employees have responsibilities and policies to follow; however, acknowledging a customer and responding respectfully should be a basic expectation of anyone in a management position.
I believe this situation warrants review, and I hope appropriate action is taken to ensure customers receive the level of service and professionalism that reflects positively on your company.

I recently purchased a pair of pants from the store and called ahead to inquire about the removal of the security tag that had been affixed to them. The store representative informed me that if I arrived before 9 PM, the tag could be removed. I arrived at 8:58 PM, but the store was already locked. The representative informed me through the glass door that the store had closed after I had confirmed my intention to visit and have the tag removed via phone. She stated that once the doors were locked, she was unable to unlock them due to security concerns. Consequently, I will be returning the purchased items and refraining from visiting the store in the future. It is imperative to treat others with kindness, even in small gestures. Additionally, the store has refused to provide me with the name of the manager. I intend to return after my vacation to discuss this matter with the manager. .

My husband just called me to say he’s never shopping there again!! The person working tonight has terrible customer service. My husband goes to Bealls almost every week to get our daughter a gift. The lady working tonight on 1/16/26, completely ignored him when he asked her questions about the toys. We get you close at 9:30, but if the doors are still open you’re still expected to do your job.
