  Had a terrible experience here. A lady in the front near the Sephora section was extremely rude, hostile, and impatient. My mother and my 90 year old grandma went into the store to purchase items. The lady offered to attend them and then proceeded to rush them by saying “are you taking it or not”. I will also mention she demanded they had to pay with card and couldn’t pay in cash for whatever reason. She also made sure to rudely highlight that she couldn’t understand what they were saying. Sometimes I can agree there can be a language barrier, however as someone who works in customer service this is disgusting, rude, and unprofessional. You are also rushing a 90 year old. This is the reflection and training of JCPenney in Buford. Sad. I have been shopping here for years.

  My wife and I normally do not shop at JCPenney. However, my wife bought a dress and decided to return it because the dress was very itchy and uncomfortable. We were told that the return window had expired because my wife did not return the dress within 60 days, and they refused to refund the $118. However, this policy was not on the receipt, as we thought we had 90 days. They have the policy printed in fine print on an 8x10 sheet of paper on a corner of the counter but not on the actual receipt. We explained the situation to the store manager named Jill, who did nothing to help. She excused her refusal to return the money by claiming the dress tag was not in the right place. I had tried the dress on and taken the tag off, but I put the tag back on the dress when I realized how uncomfortable it felt on my skin. However, she used the tag's placement as an excuse to legally steal the refund that was supposed to go back to my credit card. This is the first and last time I will ever spend my money in a store like this. The customer service was horrible. Never again! Shop there at your own risk!

  JCPenney mall of Ga. Cluttered disorganized store. One fitting room that had a long wait. After I found what I was looking for I wandered the store for over 20 minutes looking for a cashier. Standing in front of what looked like an open check out did not help no one came to check me out. Line at the only check out was so long I waited 15 more minutes before putting my items back and an currently happy to pay more somwhere else that will actually provide service.

  Great experience with Yezlyn at the makeup department!! She was super sweet and helpful with my purchase for a friend’s gift, even with recommendations. I did however have a bad experience with checking out at the overall store, as it was 7:30pm (Mall closing at 10pm) and only 1 register was open, all the way in the Kids section by the back exit & clearance sections which wasn’t convenient. In addition, their payment system was having constant issues and the register guy didn’t seem too concerned looking at his phone, or pleased, causing a long line and making my checkout last about 10-15 minutes.
